After the worst situation of the fund, a collection campaign (opération coup de cœur) can be started for each case that has occurred. All members are obliged to participate, at least in the amount of the specified call amount. The amount of the participation depends on the number of members and the amount of the already accumulated fund. The collection actions, which are called on a case-by-case basis, serve as an expression of solidarity and are to be paid for the long-term consolidation of the Fund. This ensures a lasting ability of the platform to act in every respect.
The platform pursues the goal of enabling the full assumption of the repatriation costs of its members through a grant. The subsidy is basically staggered according to the duration of the membership on the platform. The amount of the subsidy increases with the duration of the membership and reaches the maximum amount already from the fifth year of membership.
In the first year of membership, a waiting period applies. As a gesture of goodwill, a collection campaign can be started.
In the second year of membership, the waiting period continues to apply. However, the repatriation costs can be financed by voluntary collection actions of the members. These costs cannot exceed 40% of the maximum applicable grant amount.
In the third year of membership, the repatriation costs will be subsidized with 60% of the maximum applicable grant amount.
In the fourth year of membership, the repatriation costs will be subsidized with 80% of the maximum applicable grant amount.
From the fifth year of membership, the repatriation costs will be subsidized with 100% of the maximum applicable grant amount.
Step | Case | Reserved grant amount | Goodwill |
---|---|---|---|
1. | in the 1st year | 0% | |
2. | in the 2nd year | 0% | Volontary collect, but max. 40% of the reserved grant amount. |
3. | in the 3rd year | 60% | |
4. | in the 4th year | 80% | |
5. | from 5th year | 100% |
If the member dies in his or her country of origin or country of choice, the reserved subsidy amount will be reduced to 30% if the stay there exceeds the duration of three months. If the duration of the stay is less than three months, the reserved grant amount will be reduced by 50%.
In view of the current projection, the maximum applicable grant amount is EUR 15,000.00 per repatriation case. The maximum applicable grant amount is adjusted annually due to the economic situation and depending on the number of members of the platform and the state of the fund.
